Overview

SCP is a voluntary program that offers you the opportunity to have your criminal charge dismissed.  Once you plead into SCP, you will be assessed and placed into one of four tracks based upon your individual risk level and needs.

Note:  If you are in SCP for more than 12 months, you will be charged $100 for every month that you continue to be in the program.

You will be assigned a case manager when you are admitted to the program.  You must report to him/her as directed.  When you begin SCP, you and your case manager will create a case management plan that you will need to follow in order to graduate from SCP.  This plan will be based on your individual needs.  Everyone’s case plan is different because everyone’s needs are different.  While you are in the program, your case manager will supervise and monitor you to make sure that you are following your case management plan.

Your case manager is here to help you.  Your case manager will share information about your progress with other members of the SCP Team.  The SCP Team is made up of other SCP case managers, the SCP judge, substance abuse treatment providers, and any other service providers who will be working with you.  The SCP Team members make recommendations to each other about whether you should move to the next phase of SCP.

IMPORTANT: The use of any alcohol or illicit drugs is strictly prohibited while you are in the program.  You will be required to take random alcohol and drug tests while you are in SCP.  If you fail a drug test, OR if you fail to report for your drug test (unless you are excused by your case manager), you will receive a sanction, which may include jail time.

IF YOU ATTEMPT TO DO ANY OF THESE THINGS, OR IF YOU IN ANY OTHER WAY TRY TO TAMPER WITH YOUR DRUG SCREEN RESULTS, YOU WILL BE TERMINATED FROM THE PROGRAM, YOUR SENTENCE WILL BE INVOKED, AND YOU WILL BE INCARCERATED.
